Lego Star Wars are two staples of childhood Americana – and it turns out they go together like peanut butter and jelly. All of these are not the best. Lego Star WarsGames were not gold-standard. However, they each built the universe brick by brick in their own unique way. These are our five favorites.
Lego Star Wars III – The Clone Wars
This game should have been a breeze. It took a very fun concept and made it more technical. This made the game even more enjoyable and fun to actually play. This game had great potential, with a fun game and many storylines to choose from. But it felt too early. The story was somehow lacking, drawing only from the first three. Clone Wars seasons. If the game had waited it could have included some of the best scenes from the show – only in Lego form.
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game
This one is the worst. However, what it lacks in technical mastery in game production, it makes up for in innovative trailblazing design. 2005’s Lego Star Wars: The Video Game may have covered the least favorite movies (so far, of the time) with the Prequel Trilogy, but if you’ve ever enjoyed a Lego game you have this one to thank. This was the original and it marched so The Skywalker SagaAnd Lego BatmanCould run. That said, if you loved this one seventeen years ago, I wouldn’t replay it now. You can let that nostalgia live on in your memory forever.
Lego Star Wars II – The Original Trilogy
This game took the potential of the original game and ran with them. This game was an improvement on its predecessor in many ways, including a better dodge ability, improved character creation, updated graphics and a return of the original trilogy characters. All of these things have helped. Lego Star Wars IIThey also last longer. So if you’re looking for that nostalgia hit, this may be the game to replay.

Once upon a moment, the complete Star Wars saga included six movies, a holiday special we don’t speak of, and a side trip to see some Ewoks. Now there’s a little bit more to it with an entire additional trilogy, a few TV shows, and a handful of stand-alone films. This was the extent of it in 2007. You might think they just combined the two. Lego Star WarsIt was a combination of all the games and one super-game. The story was beautifully crafted, with enhanced features and writing that made it flow seamlessly. LegoAnd Star WarsAll in one game
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
This year’s addition to the Lego Star WarsFamily was The Skywalker Saga, and now the gang’s all here. This Lego game is unique because of its huge cast of characters, unimaginable amount of content and unique approaches to solving problems. It was hailed as the best Lego game. Star Wars video game on the market, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a silly idea. Lego game? Yeah. But it’s also a fun game on its own merits, and with Lego fun is often exactly what we’re looking for.
