Disney+, unlike many streaming services, doesn’t announce when titles will be leaving the service. Disney+ is home to most Disney-owned properties. However, every now and again, there are exceptions that surprise subscribers. A popular Star Wars character was present at the New Year’s Eve ringing in the new year. kidsSome Disney+ fans are left in shock when the series was abruptly removed from Disney+.
The Freemaker Adventures: LEGO Star Wars aired two seasons on Disney XD. It aired from 2016 to 2017. The story was about a family that discovers that one of its members is Force-sensitive. This series was popular among younger audiences and came out at the same time as Star Wars Rebels. They were streaming both seasons on Disney+ up to that point along with other Star Wars TV titles. But they are no longer available.
The most surprising thing about The Freemaker Adventures’ demise is the fact that a portion of that LEGO property is still available on Disney+. The Freemaker series’ two seasons have been removed. However, the first and last season of The Freemaker Adventures Shorts can still be streamed. You can watch five shorts from the Freemaker timeline. However, you cannot stream the entire series.
Disney XD might have negotiated a streaming deal in the past that allows The Freemaker Adventures access to another service for a specific time period. We’ve seen this happen with other titles over recent years. The series was first released on Disney XD. Its long-term streaming rights will likely be owned by Disney+. Disney+ should be able to stream The Freemaker Adventures at some point in the near future. However, it is not known when.
Disney+ will soon bring you a lot of Star Wars fun. The Book of Boba Fett, which premiered on Disney+ last week, will be available every Wednesday. 2022 will see the debut of Star Wars series Obi-Wan & Andor. The Mandalorian’s third season could also be released before the year ends.
