Fans of Harry Potter are invited to join the festivities “Back to Hogwarts”Celebrations next month
From Thursday (September 1) to Sunday (September 7), fans are invited to London’s King’s Cross Station for exciting photo opportunities, interactive performances and a live countdown.
The four-day event runs from 9am-5pm every day. It celebrates the moment when Hogwarts Express departs Platform Nine and Three Quarters for a new schoolyear, which was first introduced 25 years ago by J.K Rowling.

Harry Potter, which has sold more than 600 million copies in total, has been translated into 80 languages and made a comeback on the big screen in eight blockbuster movies.
Fans can take part in Wand Combat workshops led by Paul Harris, the wand choreographer responsible to the combat seen in many of the films. You can also watch the West End cast. Harry Potter and the Cursed ChildA special version of the popular is performed ‘wand dance’As seen in the multi award-winning stage play.
Mr Harris will host a wand-training session at the beginning of every hour on Thursday, September 1, from 1pm to 5, and Saturday, September 2, from 10am through 5pm.
A live countdown will also be held, hosted unannounced by special guests. The departure board will signal that the train is heading to Hogsmeade at 11am.
Fans will be able take selfies with two giant-scale, one and a halb metre tall books replicas. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone featuring Thomas Taylor’s cover art first published by Bloomsbury in 1997, together with the classic Johnny Duddle special 25th Anniversary edition.
They can also pose for photos with LEGO Harry Potter big builds of the Hogwarts Sorting Hat and Mr Weasley’s blue Ford Anglia.
There will be new Hogwarts Express videos booths for people to view themselves in train carriages with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
For fans who cannot make the event in person, they can tune into Back to Hogwarts LIVE hosted by Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, as he embarks on a personalised tour of his old stomping ground – Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter.
This will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 7 p.m.
Fans can also expect news regarding the upcoming RPG console, Hogwarts Heritage. YouTube will offer a first glimpse of the game on Thursday, September 1, at 6.20pm.
