Digital owned by DHX Media kidsSunrights and WildBrain have signed an exclusive agreement for the development and management of global YouTube strategy (excluding Asia) to support Beyblade Burst.
WildBrain will also produce six original videos as part of the two-year agreement for a launch on the fan-run YouTube channel BeybladeGeeks. The content is designed to support the recently released range of battling tops as well as the Beyblade Burst World Championship in November.
WildBrain will manage Beyblade Burst‘s local language channels, using existing content from the animated series to develop a wider audience. WildBrain will also launch an influencer campaign on behalf of various brand activities through the BeybladeGeeks YouTube Channel.
Beyblade Burst Evolution follows a group dedicated Bladers as their fight for supremacy in a world of competition. Disney XD and Canada’s Corus Entertainment recently renewed the show for a second season.
Earlier this month, WildBrain partnered with Brazilian animation studio Alopra to co-produce the second season of Hydro and Fluid, marking the first series it has ever co-produced.
