Over the past few weeks, we’ve been detailing everything to expect from the LEGO 2022 lineup including all-new sets, delays, and other news. Today, the official LEGO catalog for January through March has been unveiled, showcasing all the upcoming builds and teasing some kits that won’t be rolling out until later on in the year. Below is a breakdown of the LEGO 2022 catalogue.

The LEGO 2022 catalog contains all the new LEGO sets

Before we move on to the LEGO 2022 catalog, please make sure you read our guide that covers all our previous coverage. We’ve broken down what to expect from several themes right here, as well as what the latter half of the year has in store on the Star Wars side of things. Now, let’s get to the actual flyer!

The LEGO 2022 catalog is over 100 pages long and covers all the sets that will be available in the winter wave. That’ll mainly cover the January sets for next year launching on the first of the month, as well as the secondary lineup arriving later in 2022 come March.

There are just two weeks before the official debut of the first set of new sets, so almost everything has been announced. This catalog confirms many of the kit’s final release dates and prices, rather than introducing anything new.

However, there are some exceptions. There will be additional LEGO City Space sets that can be paired with the Moon Command Base, which we knew was coming in March. These smaller kits are more affordable and can be used to build a Moon Rover or a Space Station. These sets will be available for inspection closer to March.

Some LEGO 2022 delays, too

The LEGO 2022 catalog includes a number of interesting additions. It doesn’t focus on the winter sets, but rather teases what else we can expect later in the year. While we’re known that the LEGO Group would be releasing sets for both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, it seems like when we see those builds is up in the air.

9to5Toys reported the news about the first Doctor Strange set at the beginning of the month. However, the LEGO 2022 catalog suggests that our initial report was incomplete. It originally seemed like only one kit would be released to go alongside the movie, but that’s a bit more uncertain now.

The LEGO Group appears to have delayed the Black Panther sets until later in the year. The entire film that inspired the kits is currently in trouble so it makes sense for the LEGO Group to wait. It’s still unfortunate. In the meantime, you can read about what we’re expecting from that lineup right here. Though it’s worth noting that with all of the issues around the film’s production, there’s no telling if the LEGO Group alters the kits or just completely scraps them ahead of release.
