The Lego 488 GTE, however, did not. need some assistancein its pursuit of performance.
Small scale, high speed
Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE is a great example of this. miniature V8 engineWith moving pistons. The real AF Ferrari Corse was brought along to help reach 129mph (208kph).
Attaching the Lego model of the Big Brother required the use of a special mechanical arm. Eight cameras, as well as two drones, were used for recording the event.
Ex-Formula 1 driver was the ideal person to take the wheel of the Ferrari. Giancarlo Fisichella is now a Ferrari Competizioni GTdriver responsible for piloting the 488 GTE at the World Endurance Championship.
A video was then createdIt made it look like the Lego Ferrari was gliding around the circuit by itself.
Lego made real
The Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE, made almost 1,700 parts, measures 48cm (19 inches). Although smaller than the real thing, the £169.99 ($169.99) model is much more affordable.
