More information has been revealed about the LEGO Star Wars and Marvel minifigure accessory kits. ‘great surprises’In store
We’re well into rumour season now, and details on new LEGO products are trickling out almost hourly, which is why we’ve already got a few more specifics on these accessory sets – despite the fact we only heard about them earlier today.
Instagram user lego_club_news reported that two Star Wars-themed minifigure pack will be available in January 2022. One Marvel pack will also be available based on Infinity Saga. There’s still no word on what exactly to expect from the Star Wars packs, which means they could realistically pull from any movie, TV show or era from a galaxy far, far away.
However, the same user suggests the Marvel set will include ‘some great surprises’. There is still a lot to be done, but Star Wars looks a lot more promising.
If you’re unfamiliar with the LEGO Group’s line-up of blister pack sets, get up to speed with 40453 Batman vs. The Penguin & Harley Quinn, 40454 Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom and 40500 Wizarding World Minifigure Accessory Set. They’re essentially just vehicles to boost minifigure collections, but also typically include fun mini-builds.
Look out for the rumoured Star Wars and Marvel versions to land on shelves in January next year, though don’t put too much stock in them until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group.
