I thought we had gotten beyond the “Paw Patrol” Phase in My household.
We had the Paw Patroller, which is a mobile tactical vehicle that a group small dogs with thumbs can drive.
We had at least three versions of my now-8-year-old son’s favorite member of the Paw Patrol, Rubble the bulldog, and a plush version of the unofficial leader, Chase the Police Pup.
I was under the impression it had been all set aside in Favorite thing about his latest favorite thing: the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” Entertainment and game franchises
The look on his faces as he watched the trailer for the movie was priceless. feature-length “Paw Patrol” Movie told me otherwise.
For those without kids Based on a poster, you can probably guess the main plot of Nick Jr.: A group puppies with unique and adorable attributes and a particular skill set go about protecting their Adventure Bay and learn valuable lessons along your journey.
I’m going to leave aside the fact that the residents of Adventure Bay — who are people, mind you, not dogs — have decided to leave all of their emergency services in The hands (paws?) A group of small animals. The movie looks adorable and the show is adorable.
When the pups’ rival, the cartoonishly villainous Humdinger, goes from mayor of Foggy Bottom to mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc with his team of cats, the Kitten Catastrophe Crew, the pups Get active and get some help, Liberty, a dachshund.
Will police force Chase ignore the concept that law enforcement jurisdiction applies to him and try to arrest someone? in a city where he doesn’t technically work? Sure sounds like it!
Marshall, the firefighting puppy, is Marshall able to live up to every negative stereotype about Dalmatians being stupid and doing hilariously inept acts that would get a regular firefighter fired from the department? It is almost certain!
Sorry, I can’t help myself. Some aspects of children’s shows really stand out as strange when you’re an adult. Have you ever noticed that almost none of these trains actually run? “Thomas & Friends” ever do what they’re actually asked to do? This seems like a very inefficient way of running a rail yard.
In all seriousness “Paw Patrol: The Movie” looks like it will be a nice, family-friendly adventure with characters I’ve come to enjoy (and poke mild fun at) over the past eight years.
This episode features members of the original television cast, including Randall Park, Dax Shepard, Jimmy Kimmel, Iain Armitage and Tyler Perry. “Paw Patrol: The Movie” Premiere Aug. 20 in Paramount + streaming service and theaters
